Thanks be to God and His Son Jesus Christ for His grace, mercy, sacrifice, and eternal love.  DJ SLYCK is an urban DJ in the Chicagoland area.  We specialize in weddings, banquets, parties, and gatherings.  We cater to many genre's of music including r&b, house, steppers, hiphop, gospel, jazz, blues, and old school dusties. We started doing gigs in 1998, but before that, I began honing my skills beginning at age 11 with a mini boombox listening to Herb Kent, Pervis Spann, Ladonna Tittle, and others.  Growing up in the 70's allowed me first hand experience with arguably the greatest music decade of all time. A few years later you would find me at my buddy DJ Reese's house practicing with him and his brother Horace for hours.  It became clear to me back then that my style would not be so much scratching and tricks, but more smooth blends and transitions, and timely song selections.
